Artical On Satanism

The oldest picture of Satan was found in Persia ( Iran ) in 6000 B.C. In this picture , Satan was pictured as an animal; part snake, the other part lion. In ancient India, Satan’s picture was unclear. In the Middle Ages, Satan was depicted as a black man with a beard. In his head, he had horns; on his feet, hooves. With the advent of Islam, the prophet Mohammed described Satan in the same fashion.

Egypt was the oldest civilization on record that believed in the judgment Day. The Egyptian believed in the good and the evil and had a God for each. Isiris was the God for goodness and light. Sat was the god for evil and dark. These two gods were always in conflict with each other. They displayed Sat’s picture in their temples. I think they worshipped sat because they were afraid of him, not because they loved him.

In Ancient Persia (before the birth of Islam), the Persians believed in the “Magi”. According to Webster’s Dictionary, Magi refers to the priestly caste of Medina and Persia. These wise men came from the east bearing gifts for the baby Jesus. The Persians also believed that the world was controlled by two powers. The power of light and the power of dark. There was a god for each of there two powers. At the end of the world, they believed that the good God would win.

In ancient India , the Hindus believed in the god, Barhumm. This god consisted of three smaller gods: Brahma, Fishno and Shiu. Brama was the god that created life. Not many people worshipped him as it was felt he couldn’t do much for people. Fishno was the god of goodness. Many people worshipped him, but the majority of the Hindu worshipped shiu, the god of evil and bad things. The interesting fact is that they worshipped his penis only !. Many statues were made of shiu and his wife. These statues showed him in many different sexual positions; all from the waist down.

Satan and Greek mythology

In Greek Mythology, there was no mention of Satan or evil for that matter. Alastores – bad spirits – were mentioned.

There bad spirits made people take the wrong path in life.

They tried to deceive the average person. I think that they Greek gods were actually worse than there spirits. For example, the Greek gods Oranis slept with his birth mother, while the Greek god Groneus killed his father. Hefistus caught his wife sleeping with another god, Aris. Of all the Greek gods, the biggest god was thought to have been Zeus. He was the worst by far. I think Zeus was the devil or the evil one. He killed his father, married his sister Hera, Committed adultery with his daughter, just to mention a few unspeakable acts. Basically Greek Mythology was unclear as to the role Satan or the devil played.

Satan and Judaism:

In the old Testament or Torah as it known in the Jewish religion, There is not a clear delineation made between God and the devil. A good example of this is when we see God planning with Jaco to steal goats from the people . Clearly, Satan was at work, Although he was not specifically mentioned by name. You can also see the devil at work in Exodus 32: God was ready to destroy a whole nation, because of their sin, but Moses pleaded to God for mercy, which God granted to there people. Again, Satan was not mentioned by name in this passage.

Satan and Christianity:

In Christianity, there is a clearer delineation between good and evil. Satan now has a name, Lucifer. Lucifer is the leader of the other devils. This fact is even mentioned in Mathew 12: 24 & 25 “Satan is the Prince of Demons”. God gave control of this wind to Lucifer. Lucifer became King of the Wind and then become Prince of Darkness. In Ephesians 2:2, “ You used to live just like the rest of the world, full of sin, obeying Satan, the mighty prince of power of the air. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who refused to obey God! ” In John 12:31., “The time of judgment for the world has come, when the prince of the world will be cast”. The prince of this world was a name given to Satan. Although Satan was mentioned more often in Christianity than previous religions, I find that the picture of Satan is still not as clear as it should be.

Satan and Islam:

For The first time in the history of religion, the picture of Satan or Shaton, as known in the Koran, is clear. The devil is just from different demons. In the Koran, Sura (chapter) LV (55), Al Rahman 15, “ And he created Jinns from fire free of smoke”. Note: Jinns means demon in Arabic. This passage points out that God created the demons from fire. The capabilities of there demons differ from those of human beings. There demons have the ability to change their form, but speed as well they are known to be extremely fast- almost as fast as the speed of light.

Roots of Satanism:

Like most religions, Satanism borrows beliefs from religions that come before it. Although the first humans may have prayed to spirits or god whom they considered sometimes good and sometimes evil, The organized act of worshipping an entity known as Satan or the devil didn’t appear until the establishment of the Christian Church, which was mentioned previously. The origins of modern satanic cults are speculative, because one is dealing with secret societies, but the following tents have been reported in Satanism:

bulletThe Black Mass.
bulletRituals
bulletHuman Sacrifice
bulletSex and Satanism

The black Mass

The black Mass was similar to the mass of Catholic Church with the exception of the following:

bulletSatan was used in the place of God
bulletEvil was used in the place of good.
bulletUrine was used in place of wine during Communion.

Also, there were four basic elements of the Black Mass:

bulletVirgin Girls.
bulletPriests who are atheists.
bulletProstitutes wearing red coats assisting the priest with mass.
bulletLastly, the guest (victim).

Rituals:

All occult rituals revolve around one theme, summoning of supernatural powers that can then be used to effect change. Recently, Satanic rituals were cited in the June 24th issue of the Gulf Times, Doha, Qatar. Small groups of youth in India, numbering about 10 per group, were converging in the middle of the night in cemeteries and invoking Satan by placing a monkey skull in between them with the words of Satan inscribed on the skull. There youths were seeking Satan’s intervention to bring them wealth and property of even just to help them secure good marks in examinations.

Many occult groups use a circle for their rituals. For some groups, it offers protections from unruly spirits; for others, it is a place into which power are gathered and strengthened. Members are dressed in black for most rituals.

Red is used for rituals involving sex. Black and red candles are most used for rituals, as candles provide an Erie illumination.

For the “workings” of Satan. During the ritual, nothing is asked of Satan; it is just demanded of him. The used of blood is important in rituals. As it is thought that blood contains life force. If you have life force, then you have power, many drink blood during their rituals and pour it over themselves as they believed this will also give them power. Human sacrifices dominate rituals as you will see in the next segment.

There are three different types of satanic rituals. The first , the sex rituals, is used to put a “ spell” on someone or create a dusion on the part of the person whom you desire. The second ritual, The one of the compassion is performed to pr…. The …. Of evil.

Help someone else in such situation as health, finance, happiness, education or material success.

The hex, the third force is used to destroy most of there rituals are performed in the early morning hours. Or about two hours before the “Target” person awakes, when the subconscious mind is active in the dreaming and more susceptible to oubide infwemes.

Human Sacrifice

Before a human sacrifice was made, the victim was tortured. Usually the victim was a young boy. He was taken to the alter pr priest, disrobed and tied up. Then, they started torturing him. There were various methods of torture, but the preferred method seemed to be stabbing the victim with a knife or putting a hot skewer through his body. Occasionally, his eyes were torn out of his head or hot wax poured over his naked body. The reason why they tortured the victim before they sacrificed him was they felt it was then easier to catch the tortured victim’s soul. Supposedly, torturing the victim before sacrificing him, increased the priest’s power. Also, the younger the boy, the better as it was felt the younger the victim, the cleaner he was ( free of sin ). After torturing the victim, his abdominal cavity was split open and the liver ripped out, so that it would be eaten while still warm. The victim was then finished off by having his throat split with a dull knife, which drained what was left of his blood over the alter.

Just a note: the most prized possession of a Satan is a candle made from the fat of unbaptized baby.

Sex and Satanism :

There are two basic guidelines to follow with sex in Satanism. There guidelines are as follows:

bulletAnything goes
bulletThe rule of opposites.

Anything goes means nothing is forbidden. A human can have sex with anything- another human, an animal, an inanimate object, etc. also, a human can have sex with anybody- mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son, etc. there are absolutely no restrictions or limitations, as far as sex is concerned.

The rule of opposites means pleasure should equal pain, hate should equal love, etc. The opposites must be balanced with each other, for sex to be acceptable.

Conclusion

This is by no mean a complete addition of (Satanism).  It just enough information to give you (food for thought) perhaps it will prepare you for dealing with Satanism, if such a situation should arise in your life.
